Waves Celebrates Success of 2009 and Thanks Partners:
We
acknowledge the support of many who contributed to an exceptional
season. We
were able to prevail thanks to our partners and supporters. Partners include Antelope Valley H-D, Buell, Dairyland Cycle
Insurance and DeKalb Tech Institute Motorcycle Service Department.
Great equipment, supplies and support from RaceTech, GPR, Royal
Purple, HMF Exhaust, EBC, Drive Systems, Factory Body Works, CRG
levers, Speedcom and mylaps.com also enabled the team's success.
MidSouth Steel and Motolust kept our infrastructure in tact and we looked great
thanks to the vinyl graphics expertise of The In House.

Waves Finishes Third In Moto GT1 '09 Championship & More:
Liberty Waves Racing celebrates an exceptional 2009 season with
four podium finishes and being among the top 4 bikes for all the
races the team finished. Consistent
performance in the MotoGT1 class carried the team past the last two
disappointing race rounds to capture the third spot on the
Championship podium. Most importantly, as stated by Team
Captain and rider, Eric Pinson, we had a heck of a lot of fun doing
something we love – being at the race track and watching racing at
its best. Liberty Waves sponsored amateur rider,
Austin
Hunter Burchardt, finished the 2009 season, his first season of road
racing, with both a Mid-Central Championship for the WERA 125GP
class (WERA Pirelli Sportsman Series) and a CCS National
Championship for the 125GP Amateur class.

Buells Struggle
Through Daytona 8-Hour Season Finale:
Eric Pinson, David Sadowski, Jr and Walt Sipp each had a chance
to ride portions of the
8-hour race but mechanical issues ended the team's season 3.5 hours
and 82 laps into the race. The crew made a valiant effort to
perform a motor replacement on hot pit lane. Within 100
minutes, the crew disassembled and reassembled the Kowgo bike and
fired the replacement motor to life. Unfortunately, this life
span was short-lived. The motor coughed and rattled and when
revved died with a bang. The eerie silence that followed
marked the end of the team's season. Track announcer, Richard
Chambers, consoled Team Captain, Eric Pinson and allowed Pinson to
thank the team and the AMA for keeping riders safe and competitive.
Pinson noted the accomplishments of the team's crew comprised of DeKalb Tech interns who started the season green and over the course
of 9 races evolved to a highly competent crew.

Riders Join Liberty
Waves Roster For Daytona 8-Hour Season Finale:
Eric Pinson will be joined by David Sadowski, Jr and Walt Sipp to bring
the Team's 09 Season to an exciting close. Both Dave and Walt have
raced Daytona multiple times. Daytona is a great track for Dave.
He finished 16th in the '07 Daytona 200. Having raced the 8-hour
endurance event for the last two years on a Buell, Walt Sipp brings the
power of consistency and insights to help bring the Team's 1125R to the
finish line.

Tumble At New Jersey Motorsports Park Takes Liberty Waves Out Of
Championship Contention: In lap 22, Eric Haugo lost the front
and low-sided off the track. Fortunately, he was able walked away
with minor bruises and raced later that day in Superbike. The
Team's chase for the championship title, however, came to a crushing end
with a bike cart-wheeling and summer-salting bonanza. The
point-leading team continued their positive momentum finishing second
and earned the lead margin to be awarded the championship title.
Liberty Waves presently sits third in points and
looks to finish strong at
the 8-hour endurance finale in Daytona during Biketoberfest weekend, Oct
16-17.

Place Finish at VIR Keeps Liberty Waves Alive For Championship Chase:
In a race of attrition in which several fast bikes succumbed to
crashes and mechanical failures, Team Liberty Waves waged a consistent
performance and was able to wage a second place podium finish.
Although the gap behind the points leader grew to 11 points, the team
remains in championship contention with two races left in the series.

Liberty Waves Still In Chase For Championship Lead: -
The 4th place finish at the Heartland Park, Topeka, Kansas round
earned the team an additional 18 points for a total of 104 points in
the MotoGT 1 class. LW is only 5 points behind the leader and
